WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?

Dermal fillers are used for facial aesthetic treatments and are injected into the skin. They are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of wrinkles, create volume and contour and to revitalise the skin. Dermal fillers are made up of Hyaluronic acid which is a substance that naturally exists in your body. Hyaluronic Acid is a water loving molecule that absorbs up to 400 times its weight in water.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Dermal Fillers work by boosting the skins supply of hyaluronic acid, dermal fillers revitalise and add volume to the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Dermal fillers are a soft injectable gel consisting of stabilized, non-animal hyaluronic acid. the gel closely resembles the hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in our body. It is long lasting but not permanent. As we age, the natural collagen and elastin in the skin lessens, as cells lose their ability to produce more of their youthful component. The skin becomes dryer, thinner and less able to fix itself.  By lifting and smoothing targeted folds and wrinkles by adding subtle volume, dermal fillers can make a difference to a person’s appearance, restoring your youthful definition and rejuvenating your appearance.
